I found three kittens and their mother. One has already found a home with Rick; the other is going to Forshee, I guess. These page exists because two of the kittens were up for adoption. Now that they've found homes, I guess I could take the page down -- or, leave it up for future generations to gaze at in wonder and amazement.

There may be a photo of the basement where I found the kitties soon. I'm working on that.

The kitten statement, along with even more photos, are below. I also wrote a song about the kittens.

Update - 17 October
I have found homes for two kittens! I think I will keep the other one and the mother. It looks like the posters I hung up at Eastman worked!!!

Kitten Statement
Hello, we are three kittens that Paul rescued from the basement of a dank old stinky basement where Tom Folan works. At first we did not like Paul, in fact one of us bit him and that was not very nice. Paul had to go to the hospital and get two stitches in his ear! Then, he had to deal with the Monroe County Animal Control Agency! All for us!!!!

We are growing MUCH more accustomed to being around people and would make wonderful pets right now! In fact, we are very well adjusted to living with humans after several weeks of living with Paul!

The kitten who bit Paul would like to say that she is very sorry. I was scared when Paul grabbed me for the first time because I had never been picked up by a human before. In just three days of living with Paul I became much more docile and playful!

Paul said we need to go to this place called the vet before anybody adopts us. We are a little scared of going to the vet, but our mommy went there and she was very happy, although she is all shaven! Paul says he will take us to the vet any day now, and then after a week we will be ready for adoption. Manfred went to the vet too, and he said he didn't like it that much, but we think he is lying.

We especially like catnip, using the litter box, Stockhausen, Schütz, exploring the insides of dark boxes, being petted and scratched, and eating kitten kibbles and moist kitten food.

We would so much like to be a part of your home! We are two little black kittens and one black/white kitten. But we are getting bigger and might now be considered "adolescents". If you are interested in adopting us please contact Paul! (email address at bottom-left of this page.)

More Photos of Us!

I am formerly Kitten No. 2, but Paul has provisionally given me the name Penelope. I'm elegant and ladylike! And, everytime Paul comes home, I run up to him for a little pet or two. Although I bit Paul when he grabbed me to rescue me from the basement, I actually have gone through an amazing socialization process. Paul can pick me up anytime he likes now, without any fear of retribution from me!

Hello, my name was Kitten No. 1, but Paul has been thinking of naming me Zerlina! I am a very bouncy cute girl kitty who has a nice round tummy and likes to sleep on the couch. I like to play with Paul's fingers and toes all the time! It's fascinating the way he wiggles them for me!!!

I am the boy kitten! I was Kitten No. 3, but now I think the name Manfred suites me quite well. I'm awfully outgoing and I have a chirpy meow like my favorite animal, which is a bird! What I like to do is to twist my little body around in a spiral while I'm sleeping. I like this photograph because it makes me look very scholarly. I went to the vet to get all my shots recently, and then I had a little operation!

Here are two of us with Mommy! We were a little sleepy when Paul snapped this photo! -
